Love the food here. Affordable price and great atmosphere. My only issue is sometimes you wait too long for your food. However, there are a few great servers there that do their best to make everything great. But if your not in a rush I recommend this place

This is a great place to go if you're doctor tells you to gain weight. Eating here will put pounds on you. I've eaten here after long bouts of the flu, to get my energy back up. Food sticks to your ribs. Chicken fried steak with SOS gravy is good, but don't eat for another 3 days or you and Oprah will be having something in common. Service usually sucks but sometimes you get lucky. Summary Great place to go if you eat like a cow and don't have a lot of money.

For what it is, it is a great value. Period. Burgers on the menu are between 5 and 6 bucks. Martini cocktails for $5.50 to $6.50. No wonder this place is packed. The burger was good, the bacon on it was good, and its hard to believe that you have to pay about only a buck less for much less of a meal at a fast food restaurant. We arrived at about 8:45 pm and were worried the kitchen would be closed. They were open until 11 on Monday. Labor Day.

I've been here twice, and had a great experience both times. Food was fresh and delicious, specifically the appetizer trio, ribs, and the new orleans pasta was enough for several meals (and heated up nicely later). The top shelf shaker margarita was delicious, lasted the whole time, and was under $8! What more can you ask for? Both times the servers were attentive and funny, on our second trip in, the manager came around and was very friendly, asking how everything was, very professional and caring. The only downside to this place is the menu, everything sounds good when you sit down, it's tough to decide!

Had lunch there today. Despite the Host's lack of enthusiasm , we had a great lunch. Great waiter named Dominic waited on us and gave 5 star attention. The food was great. Got Queso and chips. Delicious. The chips are thick and very flavorful. Got the lunch Chicken Fried Chicken. Amazingly fresh and hot. Loved it. My partner got the Fish tacos. Very fresh and delicious with the awesome Mango Salsa. Also got several refills of soda and he was very kind and attentive with no attitude. Got some Key lime shots for dessert. Tangy and delicious. Also the manager came by and checked on us and was very kind. Overall a fantastic experience. Not sure of the other complaints on here but we had a great lunch with fantastic service at an awesome price. Definitely recommend! P.S. They bring the ticket with the food now. The server was uncomfortable with it as we were. It's a District Manager thing he explained. Totally understand that. Not his fault at all. It just makes the customer feel rushed to pay the bill. Not a good idea. But no worries. We took our time and enjoyed it.

The food is average chain food and the service is average but the food is on the cheaper side. A friend and I had an appetizer, two entrees and two salads for $30. That really can't be beat! I love the onion ring appetizer with their spicy creole sauce. Get the chicken tender salad, one of the best things on the menu!

Cheddar's at times can seem like a 5 star restaurant. Everything can be absolutely perfect. At other times - like today - their ribs can be cold, but they still fell off the bone. We like Cheddar's (especially the ones in Sanford and Orlando - exceptional)) but they are not consistent - i.e. Ft Myers. They have a great menu and the bread pudding is fantastic.

Here is my 2 cents on the food. The portions were friendly. The onion rings looked and tasted like homemade. For the price enough for 2 people and tasty. I got the chicken fried steak. The mash potatoes were good with a hint of garlic. Green beans outstanding. Ohh yes the heart attack fried steak.. yyyuuuummmmyy. Enough to take home. Cooked to perfection seasoned properly and almost did not need a knife. Over all good american faire for the tastebuds. Now some chit chat. This was my first time visit. I am not sure what I was expecting. But it was very tastefully decorated. I was seated promptly. (This is on a sunday around 12 pm.) My server was Luis. I was suprise with some 3 X 5 cards about the menu and Luis. It answered in advance questions that I had. I thought this is a brilliant idea. Thumbs up Cheddar's. Service and the smiles were excellent. An overall great experience. My one issue was I did not get my Texas size toast with my meal. :-(. My oh my.. But hey there was more than enough vittles that I did not remember until I was driving home. Plus my waist did not need it. Over all this is one of the best chain eatery I have gone to. I liked it. I would definitely recommend this to others.

I've really never had a bad experience at any cheddars restaurant I've been too! They've all been pretty solid! First let me say the staff here is so nice and friendly for sure! Second the prices are very very reasonable! Lastly the portion sizes are great!!! I ordered a side salad which is a $2.49 add on and is well worth it! Nice big portion! For dinner I had baby backs and tenders. The baby backs where fall off the bone tender. I wish they offered extra sauce or a variety of sauces to use if anything! The tenders where enormous and crispy and tasted good. The sides where home style and points for offering country gravy with the mashed potatoes! I'll go back to cheddars as long as they keep the big portions and cheap prices. If they cutback, like most places tend to do I'll stop going but until that happens there ok in my book!

Ok today was my first time at Cheddars.... Here's the run down. The food was excellent! Taste was outstanding.... After we had everything corrected. Yeah, unfortunately after we received our app. (Cheese fries with bacon, simple enough) I had to call the waitress and say "shouldn't there be bacon on this" to which she replied "yes, you're absolutely right" and promptly took care of it. I also ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, which comes with ranch, but I asked for "no ranch" not "ranch on the side". Ranch came on the side and had spilled all over the plate and wrap, I wiped it off. Again waitress explain she wrote put it on the side. No biggie. My wife got a chicken pot pie and a side of corn, corn never came so again asked our waitress for the corn. But one thing I'm not a fan of is ALL the food (except the corn) coming out at the same time..... So the two star loss is for the people expediting food and the miscommunication from server to kitchen. If this gets solved is truly recommend it.

Bad start, hostess gives us the alert monitor but doesn't write it down and forgets about us. 30 min later, thank God my husband thought to ask.,,. Six of us waited again. Server seemed like she wished she was at home on the couch. Not very friendly, never smiled, probably mad we didn't want appetizers. The room was too loud. We had to yell to talk and it bothered our ears straining for so long. Maybe that's what's wrong with the server? They need some absorbing curtains or something Food was room temperature but good value in portions and price. I Like the veggie plate, better if it was served hot. I also Like the lunch portions you can still order for dinner This was a Tuesday night, and it was packed. Must be doing something right, but not much right tonight.

Never heard of this chain and my dad wanted to see if the gps actually worked on an iPhone (it did) so we stopped for a late lunch or early dinner-depends on your generation. Went with a club sandwich and chose the broccoli out of a number of most likely tastier but less healthy for me sides. Sandwich was decent! Smoked turkey and ham, melted cheese, possibly some veggies, bacon, and a delicious potato bread. All the servers were friendly and I thought it was nice they had what appeared to be "flair" by leaving personalized cards at each table with the name of the server. As an added bonus, the background music upon arrival was "summer breeze" which gave me the giggles. You know who you are.

AMERICAN!! Which is good and bad. So much delicious food.. but so much fried food. Overall, it's a nice restaurant. Very clean and an open concept. I have tried a few things here. The club is nice. The entrees are all pretty good. The last time I was here, I had the chicken pecan salad which was really nice. The portion size is HUGE and HUGER, so come hungry. The pricing is good too. I have never been a fan of the staff, at least the ones I have had. They all seem a little scattered or slow.

The place was packed but worth the wait. The service was great, food was quick and delicious and prices were reasonable. I would definitely return again and I recommend it to anyone who likes good food!

Lets start out by saying this is NOT fine dining fancy food. It is large homecooked family style eating. This is a five stars all the way for portion, price, and quality for hearty midwestern food. If ordering steak, don't expect the ritz, as I was taught you should only order a steak from an actual steakhouse (Mortons, Ruth Chris, you get the picture). Don't be shy about bringing grandma and grandpa, the kids, your neighbors kids, as this will not break the bank. On to the drinks, not weak. My choice is the texas margarita on the rocks for only $4.29. I limit myself to two if I am the one driving. We always order a large onion ring to start off with only $4.79. Then, right until the last second, I have an ongoing war in my head of which item to get. I try to rotate between the chicken fried chicken, ribs, monte cristo, honey dijon chicken, and the handbreaded chicken tenders. If you need more gravy, salad dressings they are quick to bring it without that sneaky upcharge of .99 or 1.29 other restaurants put on there. Great place!!

So my fiancé and I used to frequent this Cheddars once (sometimes...ok often times, twice) a week. Religiously. Then one day we realized they had charged us for our meal (25ish dollars) AND a completely separate charge of 46$ on the same day! I of course went in to speak to the "manager" several times. Apparently there are many managers and I got the run around to 4 separate ones. Long sorry short, after two weeks and going in multiple times and being told they were "working it out with corporate" to refund the money- nothing. They stopped returning calls and never offered a gift card or anything. Which we surly would have used since we went every. Single. Week. We haven't been back since and its absurd to think they can just fraudulently charge such large amounts and feel they don't have to do anything about it! They also kept asking if I had the receipt for the mystery 46$ charge- no, how can I have a receipt I was never given considering it wasn't our charge!? Beware: do not go unless you plan to pay with cash! We haven't gone back even with cash because of the principle of the matter.

Cheddar's is going downhill.. I was a frequent diner (3 times a week). I would always go to Cheddars on my way to the airport (as I fly all over the country to be a presence at my restaurants). Today 7/10/2015 I dined at Cheddars as asked for my usual. Salmon with no seasoning and no butter. I was told they would have to "ask their Chef". I was amazed they didn't recognize me and I assured them that the GM (Randy) would do it for me as he always does. As I waited for the "Chef's" answer I was approached by another server that told me "changing the seasoning and not using butter would change the flavor profile and I would not be accommodated". REALLY!! As a CIA graduate I just laughed to myself and asked for my check and to speak with the GM. Apparently Randy is no longer with the company and I was not offered to talk to any other manager. Bad choice Cheddar's. RANDY IF YOU ARE READING THIS, EMAIL ME!!

The food took too long to come with hardly anyone inside the restaurant. The soup was cold. The waitress took a knife away from my friend's back from the other booth leaning in . It was bad enough she acted like she was very much off the rails, but that would be the last time I ever go there again.

    (2)
  • Britt R.

The drinks are very reasonable 4 to 6 dollars a drink not too bad definitely stop and get one before you go to the clubs.although they are very busy you'll have to wait at least half an hour to get your food the desserts even know there The reasonable in price I would not recommend their cookie save your money!

  • Barbara L.

This was my first visit to Cheddar's and I will definitely go back. We all had a grilled chicken and pecan salad that was fabulous. The greens were fresh and tasty, the chicken grilled just right. We also got a homemade croissant with our salads, which was out-of-this-world delicious. It tasted so good, I would have been happy to have it for dessert!

    (4)
  • T. J. S.

Not a semi-healthy dish on their menu. The only salad option has fried chicken on it. Beer is not very cold and everything is very greasy.

ok, so I drove over to this area looking to have dinner at Connors restaurant and when I arrived there was a ridiculously long wait to get seated. what to do? we drove around the area and there were so many choices that we didn't know what to choose. we had never been to a Cheddar's restaurant and to be honest, most modest priced family restaurants tend to disappoint. not so with Cheddar's. to start it was about 7:30 on a Saturday night and the wait was only 10 min. the decor was modern and upscale -not your typical family restaurant stuff. I guess I was expecting something like a Perkins or golden corral. this was.....nice. we were seated in a booth and our server, Ashley, took our drink order. she was positive and upbeat. smiling and clearly enjoyed working with customers. a real superstar. I had the grilled fish tacos and my boyfriend had the baby back ribs. the ribs were fall off the bone tender with a great flavor. the fish tacos - OMG. These were soon good. I'm still dreaming about going back and getting them again. I've got to admit that my go to in a comfort food place is chicken fried steak, and tho its on the menu, all I want is those tacos. they were that good. Try Cheddar's, you won't regret it

I was on a mission to find a great Monte-Cristo-Sandwich & I found it here!! Amazing!! --- service was nice & fine, all kids-- cut them some slack Cool & memorizing ceiling fans, hypnotic fish tank (I'm easily amused, yes!!) Monte-Cristo was like 2 Hot-Pockets cut in half (not the usual French-toast version but DAMN was it freakin great!!) w a melba sauce type thingy... Lots of folks were eating fried seafood, all fried seafood everywhere... all looked light fried as opposed to that dank dirty-oil fried, & the they all were freaking out about it, ....looked good but I'm hooked on that Monte-Cristo smack!! --- Minus a star for the server that went into the bathroom sh*tter with his work apron on, --- have common sense, that's not something you come to learn in the restaurant biz, that's something anyone with a FREAKIN' BRAIN should know... you walked out of the can wiping your hands on your apron.... I'm happy I sat at the bar & you didn't wait on me!! ......GROSS!! Monte-Cristo-- GET IT!! (....did I spell that right?? Monte-Cristo... looks wrong--- MontyCrysto?-- OH!! that's hipper, kids will dig it... going w/ that, I no longer care how it's spelt....)

The food is very good here! Ribs and salmon are FKN great! They get busy due to snow birds but keep it moving. The prices are great! Painkiller is a must.

So happy there is a Cheddars here in Ft Myers! They have great food at a good price, nice atmosphere and servers. The veggie sampler is the best deal on the menu and one of my favorites! Under $7 and you get 4 sides, a salad and croissant. Their margaritas are yummy too!

OKAY, OKAY, I admit it! My first review was a bit overly exuberant. After seeing so many weak reviews, I thought we'd better go back and check it out again. For starters, I ordered a Cabernet from our waitperson. She said: "Is that a red or white wine?" We're not off to a great start here. We started with the Crescent City Shrimp & Crab Dip, which the Menu said had "generous portion of crab." Well, it was entirely FAKE crab. For dinner we had the New Orleans Pasta which was okay, but the noodles were limp and way over-cooked. The other dish, Grilled Tilapia with Mango Salsa, was okay. Sorry, but a downgrade was definitely in order. The early high attention to service and quality that we perceived on the first visit was just not there the second time. Next time we need to eat at Gulf Coast Town Center we'll probably go over to Connor's instead.

This was recommended by many but after looking at the menu I was not too sure. We missed the exit and had to double back but it was well worth it. The service was excellent and our server was very knowledgeable and helpful. The prices were reasonable and food portions a good size. We learned what 'over pour' meant - they can around with a free beer if we wanted it. Three different people Asked if we needed anything. The ribs were fall off the bone. The only thing I didn't care for was some of the rice in my broccoli casserole was hard. The house margueritas was excellent . We definitely will come back and bring the kids. Nice ambience and overall an enjoyable meal.

This place is absolutely phenomenal! Service is great. (Christopher & Lance are the only 2 servers i've had) The food is delicious, and the prices are great too! It's always a pleasant experience when we come here, big groups or small. Probably won't recommend the grilled shrimp, not because they aren't delicious, because they are!! But the portion is a little too small. But the fried shrimp is great. The ribs are insanely delicious and the bread pudding for dessert is a MUST!! Another must have is the "Pain Killer" drink. Very very good, and inexpensive!! Enjoy!!

This is a great place for causal dinning. Love to come here for their lunch special combos. The butter croissants are a must! Our server Dana was very attentive and when I asked questions about the menu you could tell she knew the menu very well. Overall great experience. We will come again!

Cristi had the country fried chicken and I had the philly cheese steak. Not a terrible beer selection, and the bill was really reasonable. Looking forward to trying the margaritas next time. The cheddar broccoli cheese casserole was fantastic. Definitely worth a try if you are nearby.

Stopped in for brunch. Decent decor and the food was decent. Service was fast and friendly. They claim all food is made from scratch. Seemed truthful from the dishes we had.

  • Kathy S.

I had heard this place had good food. I don't know if the time I went for dinner had anything to do with the bad experience. I ordered cream potato soup it was watery. My husband ordered the steak and ribs and it was burned and tough. He ordered it medium and it was just dry and no flavor. The ribs were not any better. My chicken ciabatta was also burned. Even the broccoli casserole was not good.

Pleasantly surprised, have been seeing Cheddars all over the south and finally stopped in. Even on a Tuesday night there were quite a few people here. The atmosphere was classy and comfortable. Quiet enough for conversation but not silent like a library. Good food and prices. I had the Baja grilled chicken and my wife had the Tilapia with mango salsa. Both very good dishes. Service was a little slow at the end but still acceptable.

Hair in my food- the nuclear bomb of the food services industry. Luckily I only had to pay for the non hair portions. This is my second visit in the last few months here. The quality of food from the kitchen has dropped to the level of an old greasy waffle house. This place was average at best when it opened but after today, doubtful if I ever return.

The wait is long, so I can see why some people may be frustrated. I think my party waited over an hour for a table of 5, but this was during prime time 7pm on a Friday night. The beer is super cheap, but this is coming from a guy used to NYC prices. I got 3 pints of Yuengling at the bar while waiting for about $10. The menu is cheap! 95% of the menu is $10 or less and the most expensive combos are still under $15. The portions are huge! The chicken tenders, fried shrimp, and ribs looked awesome. I am usually upset by ribs ordered at a restaurant, but they looked like they would be good - not like sauced up and dry ribs like you might find at Applebee's or Chili's. The service is friendly and prompt. No complaints here. So why 3 stars? The "chicken fried steak", which seems like it would be pretty awesome, was really bad. This thing comes out looking like a huge hash brown from McD's on top of "Texas toast" (which was literally a piece of toast with garlic and butter on it and it was stuck to the plate). So if you're someone that likes large portion size, you get great value here, but the steak was just done wrong. I'm guessing the moisture from the steak being cooked and entombed in the fried batter was creating a barrier so that when you cut into it, the batter is separating from the steak. It's really weird. The gravy also doesn't taste like anything, but thick glop. Other than that, everyone liked their orders of burgers, chicken tenders, and fried shrimp. Take things off the menu that are going to gross people out and start taking reservations so people aren't frustrated and start their night off on the wrong foot - this to me would equal 5 stars for this place.

Our first time here has been an okay experience, so far. Service is fast but the table we set at was dirty. Ewwww I like the decor. The chips and queso was good but not great. I've had better. The chicken pot pie was low par, but the chicken fried steak was yum yum!!

    (3)
  • Nicole A.

Good for at a reasonable price. It was our 1st visit. Each meal comes with 2 sides ( salad extra). We ordered the homemade onions rings as our appetizer. They were the best onion rings I ever had! Light and fresh. Not heavy and greasy. I had steak and tenders with baked potato and corn. Steak was average, nothing special. Overall service was very good and food was good.

It was at noon during the week and I expected a long wait, party of three, we walked right in to the bar area and found an empty table. The waitress, Lala, was very prompt, funny, great personality. Drinks arrived quickly, as did food. Orders were perfect. Great job! Prices are also reasonable, lunch combo for 8 bucks. Would come back again in a heartbeat.

  • Ruth T.

I don't agree with many of the negative reviews. We were here in season. The wait was reasonable for the area and the time of day. The decor is just to my taste, not cheap as someone said. The prices are quite amazing. The pecan chicken salad was exactly how I like it although I admit it was presented better the first time I had it. Both servers (we went a second time within the week) were top notch. Since the croissants were not quite ready my server brought me 3 instead of one when they were out of the oven. My husband thought his club sandwich was superb; the potato only average. I would go back again.

    (3)
  • Bob A.

Wow! I saw all the negative comments, most were locals, maybe sour grape past employees. I found this to be a great value! People were lined up outside with pagers. They told us the wait was 25 minutes, and by gosh it was 25 to the tee. I ordered the Key West chicken and shrimp, 2 sides, carrots and broccoli. Awesome fresh flavors, So if you drive by and see a long line, go in, get your pager. And the staff was friendly. Wish we had one of these back home. Value, value, value and good made to order food!

    (5)
  • Danielle D.

Food is more like 3 stars, but price and service bump it up to 4 stars. I think the reasonable prices attract most of its customers. You can get an entree with 2 sides for around $8. Not a bad deal at all. I always get the buffalo chicken fingers and the plate comes overflowing with chicken. It is more like a meal for 2. They are also famous for their buttermilk dressing and it is delish! My friend and I always get extra for our meals. The service is always solid, so no complaints here! Recommend it for people wanting to eat a bite out on a budget.

Upscale casual at its best. Fast friendly service, great food, reasonable prices, large portions. What more can you ask for? We were seated promptly, waitress took drink orders quickly. I had the tilapia dinner which had 2 fillets, perfectly cooked. Sides were tasty too. We will be back.

I'm torn because I've been eating at the Findlay, OH location since I was a kid & that place was undeniably awesome. This location, however, is never a good experience. I've eaten there maybe 6x & each time there's a problem: food is cold & chewy, they forget my sides & sauces constantly, the bartenders never smile, etc etc. I absolutely love Cheddars, but I'm done with this location.

I'm giving cheddars -2 stars because I ordered country fried steak from their favorites menu and it was okay. I figured I couldn't go wrong ordering from the favorites menu. My husband ordered the baby back ribs and they were actually good and reasonably priced. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is comfortable. A 20min wait was actually 10 minutes. Food prices are reasonable and portions are generous.

Denny's with a better atmosphere- sort of. I don't really get the fascination with this place at all aside from it's slightly cheaper then other restaurants in the area and they have a large selection of items. Went once - prob will never go back.

We tried this place twice when it first opened, but were displeased. We were seated quickly, but waited over an hour for our food (which was a disappointment). HOWEVER, we were in the area today and decided to try again. We started with the spinach dip which was very good. I ordered the rib and chicken tender combo. Everything was clean and the staff very friendly. The food came out in a timely fashion. The ribs fell off the bone and were cooked perfectly. The batter on the chicken was light and tasty. I even enjoyed the French fries, which were not greasy or heavy. The only thing I didn't care for was the Cole slaw, which was bland. Ate my fill and had some to take home for another meal. Will definitely go back!

Went on Saturday for "linner" and had the most amazing server. She was fun, happy, interacted with us like no server ever has. She talked to our son and included him in every conversation we had with her. I just can't say enough about how wonderful she was. Oh, and the food was pretty great too. Ordered a club sandwich and my husband got the Monte Cristo... while he said it wasn't as great as he's had in the past, he wasn't disappointed.

If you are a 'foodie' with a fancy schmancy delicate palate, please do us all a favor and move on. If you are a normal schmuck like the rest of us who adore real hometown good cookin' then this is the place for you. Prices are super fair, the portions are huge, and the food is delectable. I recommend the fried chicken or the country frIed steak. Or the ribs. With onion rings. Or heck all of it. Just go eat. There is a reason you have to wait when it is a busy time of day. It is a busy time of day. It is worth the wait.

Very nice atmosphere, good service, good food, good drinks and good price. Would definitely return again. I did not have high expectations with a name like Cheddars but I was pleasantly surprised upon entering and then dining.

Great food, huge menu, and great value! This is the restaurant that TGIF's wishes it were. I ordered the shrimp and chicken combo, and received several pieces of deep fried shrimp along with a huge amount of chicken tenders, all of which was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

Horrible place. Always saw the packed parking lot and wanted to give it a try. Finally took a trip from Naples and it wasn't worth 20 minutes in the car. They were out of virtually everything. No ribs, no steak, no sides (corn, carrots, etc..). The food I got (Key West Chicken and Shrimp) was mediocre at best. My wife said her salmon was dry. Kid's pasta was swimming in butter (my daughter called it butter soup). I really had high hopes for this place, but with so many good options around, I can't imagine ever coming back.

  • Amy S.

I will not choose to go here again. I cannot believe how loud it was in there. I had to practically yell to be heard. My country fried steak was more bread than anything, and super tough. The edamame was not edible. We asked for extra napkins and we were given cocktail ones! Staff was nice, otherwise it would have been one star.

3 stars at "A Ok", as this was my first visit. I'd need to go again, in order to give 4 stars and say I'm a fan. The meals are reasonable - they have "lighter fare" options, that are served as lunch portions until the restaurant closes at night. Which is a good thing, if you're afraid the portions will be huge. Case in point: I went with 3 other people and one of them ordered the chicken fried chicken. The dinner plate comes with two HUGE chicken breasts, two sides. My friend got the lunch portion, which only came with one chicken. The piece was still big by all accounts. He couldn't even believe the size. He still packed it away, mashed potatoes with gravy and fries for size, and was left feeling full. My dinner was the lunch portion of the lemon pepper whitefish. Came with a little salad with vinaigrette dressing. The fish was served over a ginger rice, and to be honest, I know I ordered the "lemon pepper" fish, but it was more heavy on the pepper then the lemon. To the point the rice was peppery. But that's not to say it wasn't great! I think all in all, the only major problem with this night out, was the fact our server felt the need to read the entire menu to us, telling us he has personally had about "25-30 meals listed" and can say "they're all amazing". He pointed out his two favorites and continued talking to us like we were children. I think the guy who ordered the chicken was older then the server... and the kid is only 18. But at any rate, we weren't pleased with the fact he really took his time to read the menu to us, and when asked about a substitution, he wanted to have a slight disagreement with the person, as all the meals are calorie counted, for those on specific diets. By changing (let's say) rice for broccoli, you can drastically change the calorie count and off set it either way. The person asking the substitution said she wasn't looking for calories. She just wanted to know if it can be substituted. The kid said no. Okay. End of story, order something different. Will I go back? *Shrugs* I don't live close enough to that area, so I don't know.

I've been to cheddars several times and over all it's a great place. If there is any problems the staff is quick to address it. The food is cheap and awesome . The restaurant is beautiful and the food and drinks are amazing what more could you ask for .. I've had a great time every time I've gone.

HORRIBLE...! Small servings, lousy waitstaff, short shot cocktails (bartender was told and just didn't give a crap), $$$$$.$$ Just not worth even a consideration. One star only so I can give a review and save YOU.

I had a few hours before my flight and decided to have lunch here. I ordered the chicken finger plate and they gave me 5 of the biggest chicken fingers you could ever get. I could only put down 3. My bill was less than $10 and in my world that is a good deal. The service was good.

I had a good time and a good meal here for my first time. I was able to get Bluemoon at a reasonable price (under $4 for a pint). The fish tacos were very big with good amount of fish to slaw ratio. My co-worker had a burger that we were able to split in half. I gave him one of my fish tacos. We were both very pleased with the half pound burger and the fish tacos, all ranging between $6-8. It's a perfect place for teens with limited funds to still get a better meal than fast food and better ambiance, like a casual date. I'll be back next time for sure.

Sat down to a dirty table. waited. waited. waited some more. finally our server came to take our drink order, we gave her our drink and appetizer order and I asked for her to put in my daughter's meal as well since at this point we'd been waiting 25 minutes. App and kid's meal came our...where's our drinks? The food runner told me I'd have to ask someone else because he wasn't our server. REALLY?! Waited a while longer for our server to finally come back and take our food order. My daughter was done eating now and ready to go. Probably at this point we'd been there for an hour. The Spanganza bites are amazing though...fried spaghetti and cheese. SO GOOD! Back to the terrible service. waited another 30 minutes for our food. Mine came out cold. As if it had been sitting for a while. Cold fried shrimp = gross. Cold mashed potatoes = gross. I decided to order the monster cookie for dessert. it said on the menu to allow a few extra minutes for this which in Cheddar speak means 35. YES 35 minutes we sat and waited. My friend joked "what are you gonna get for dinner?" Finally we walked out. We had already paid of course. The management walks in an out of rooms, glances around, and walk back out. They have to know the service if the worst anyone's ever received and they really don't care. I spoke to a manager after the meal and he took my receipt in exchange for his business card with "free app and entree" scrawled on it. Nice strategy not to get those bad surveys to corporate I guess. My advice: Skip it. The service is terrible, the foods not that great, and management doesn't give an F.

Wow I can't believe this place is only rated 2 and 1/2 stars. The staff was super friendly esp Sean! He was very helpful! The monti cristo was like heaven! With raspberry jelly mmmmm. The sirloin salad was excellent! Wish it was in Naples & Chicago!

Good prices, better food than you might expect from the style of restaurant. Despite its fancy interior, this is a pretty simple menu with one main thing in mind: good chicken tenders. If you pass those up, you'll probably miss the main draw of the place. Nothing mind blowing, except, perhaps, the price which always manages to come out above (or technically under,) our expectations. Since it's in the middle of the tourist haven Gulf Coast Town Center you should expect a wait. The bar is pretty cozy, though, and a decent place to enjoy a quick meal (same menu.) The tenders are almost always good, in all variants. The tenders and waffles are a bit of a novelty, considering that they are a quite literal translation of a classic soul food dish. Though it seems like chicken and waffles is increasingly ending up in mainstream America's menus (which, when you think about it, was only a matter of time) so I can't really blame the place for trying to capitalize on that-- just sick of hearing "oh my god! chicken and waffles? that's like totally crazy!" Recommended for a low-price, consistently satisfying but no-frills meal.

In town to visit family over the holiday and they wanted to eat here so my wife and I agreed. Checked out Yelp (as always) beforehand and started to get nervous. Very crowded, due to the holidays. Found a few seats around the bar while waiting for our group. We had an hour long wait. The service was a little slow, with 10 minutes passing before and order was taken and another 10 to get drinks to the table. About 45 minutes in, we saw a table open up, and asked if we could have it and they said yes (which was very nice). The food was pretty average. Salads were a good size, but nothing special. I had a burger that was passable, bit nothing to get overly excited about. The rest of the table shared the same views - safe, passable but nothing really all that exciting. In the end this is a middle of the road place, which should be expected for Ft. Myers (I guess). If you want 'safe' this is a good place to go.

Ok. Here is the deal. I am a foodie but still like mainstream food. I have heard from some of my non-foodie friends that this place was really pretty good. I was actually looking forward to trying it because of the reserved enthusiasm that came across from time to time when folks talked about this place. The wait was not bad. About fifteen to twenty minutes. The décor was just ok. The materials that they used in fit and finish are cheap and that really shines through. The server, again, was enthusiastic and cheerful. I was with my kids so we had spinach dip and onion rings. Onion rings were actually delicious. The spinach dip was flavorful but only lukewarm. The main course? I had a Cajun pasta. Holy crap. One of the worst things I have ever tasted. The first bite was so bad that I took another two bites out of sheer disbelief. It was horrible. Salty....really really salty. Over seasoned. Oily. Overcooked pasta. Lousy shrimp. Cheap Sausage. I think it was leftover chicken that they used. My wife had bourbon salmon. They forgot the bourbon glaze but the salmon was cooked well. She asked for butter for the veg. Waitress said sure and never came back with the butter. I told her at the same time that the dish I had ordered was inedible and horrible. She was very polite and offered to replace it but left the discarded dish sitting on the edge of the table for the duration of the meal instead of bussing it away. Chalk that mistake up to a training issue. My other daughter asked for a Philly steak sandwich with mushrooms and green peppers on the side. The mushrooms and green peppers were mixed right in with the steak. She said the sandwich was just ok but the ends of the bread were stale. My other daughter had shrimp and chicken. The shrimp was literally drenched in a blackening or seafood seasoning. You could hardly taste the shrimp. The baked potato had curdled sour cream on it. The chicken was lukewarm and essentially flavorless. Garbage. Two meals were taken off the bill and we never had a visit from management. That is a huge mistake. It demonstrates complete apathy on the behalf of the organization. On another note, we were able to have a little bit of a show. Some really old must-have-been-rich guy was in there with his 20 something pretty attractive girlfriend making out and groping her while waiting to be served. Pretty cool. Don't often get to have crappy food and soft-core you-know-what in the same place. You would think that management would have addressed it. I thought we were on candid camera for a little while. There is no way in hell that I would ever go back here. Maybe if there was an impending apocalypse I might consider it but that would be reachy.

They say insanity is repeating an action over and over again and expecting different results. Well, I gotta say, I must be completely insane. I've gone to Cheddar's numerous times. EVERY TIME we experience the SAME EXACT PROBLEM! They have no idea how to accommodate a highchair in this place. For starters we went with our friends who also have a highchair-aged child. They sat us at a booth with the TWO highchairs on the end. Now, if you don't have kids (which they staff their must not even know what a kid is) you wouldn't understand the dilemma, BUT if you do have kids you immediately foresee the DISASTER ahead of you. So we tell management and the only thing this girl does is "here's the manager's card, come back and we'll take care of you" ok so we come back. This time its us with another couple who don't have a child. They sit us at a four-top with the highchair on the corner. ARE YOU FOR REAL? Every time we tell the hostess they look at as with stares of confusion wondering why this doesn't work for us. On another note - anything that has fried chicken will taste the same. Doesn't matter what you get. It's like eating at Olive Garden where EVERY dish taste like the dish you had last time. I can't wait for this place to close down so we can get something worth spending money on!

Totally unimpressed with the menu. The bacon was cheap, evident by its greasy appearance. American comfort food - not done well at all. I suspect the rave reviews this place is getting is from people on a budget without a foodie palate. Overcooked burgers served, but time the waitress came to ask how everything was, it was 15 minutes since someone else brought our food. So sending it back at lunch wasn't an option. Another order was a club, which arrived on burnt Wonderbread. I don't plan on returning....EVER.

Tasty comfort food; I enjoyed the shepard's pie a great deal, and my wife's chicken fingers were well-done. Everything seemed to be made from scratch, exactly as the menu promised. Service was a little inconsistent -- our waitress indicated that this was the first time she'd worked at a restaurant, and for some reason they seemed to have her in the busiest section (including a party of 8 that had some very demanding women who seemed to take pleasure in making insanely complex orders sitting next to us).. So I can't really fault her for being a bit overwhelmed; she was spread too thin. Overall, worth coming back to.

We've eaten here probably a dozen times now and love it. Food is always good (love the spasagna appetizer). Not sure why the negative reviews since we've never had an issue except for inconsistent service. There's a reason the parking lot is always full. Very good food for a very good price (almost everything is under $16) with sizable portions. Can't wait to go back

Very nice, modern decor inside. There were lots of people, considering it was a Monday during lunch. Obviously everyone in the area is heading there to try it out. We were seated immediately despite the crowds. Our server arrived within 5 minutes to take our drink order. Then it was another 10 minutes to get our drinks (water and sodas). She brought over our soup and salad first. The Caesar salad was lettuce, croutons and cheese. No dressing of any sort on it. No problem, we told our waitress and she brought some over within 5 minutes. Then it was more waiting for our food. When it arrived, my chicken fried steak was missing the key ingredient. Gravy. No problem, told the waitress and after another 5 minutes I had my gravy. The good thing about having all this free time while eating is we got to observe at least 3 other tables experience the lack of dressing with their salads (not just Caesar salads). If you want to try this place out, wait wait wait. They are definitely still learning how to operate efficiently and smoothly (and how to serve foods on their menu properly). It took us (a party of 2 with 2 orders - no appetizers or desserts) 70 minutes from the time we sat down to the time we got up to leave. We probably shaved off 5 minutes by having our credit hard in hand before we got our check. Food was slightly better than average and the prices very reasonable. I would go back and give them another try but probably after a few months.

Cheddar's is by far one of the best restaurants in Fort Myers because of it's food, service, and value. The menu has a huge variety of great food to choose from. The prices are extremely reasonable and the food always come out quickly. The service is great, as well! The servers are always friendly. The only drawback is there aren't any call-ahead seating or reservations available. However, I've never had to wait longer than 30 minutes, even at the height of season. I would highly recommend Cheddar's to anyone!

I must say we were pleasantly surprised with service and food. YES service could step it up a few notches but they are NEW..judging by the 2 table sections last night someone has been reading the reviews that the service is bad. Loved the onion rings!! The ribs were a little on the spicy side but very tender and moist. Grilled shrimp I would say NO on as it was not that good but everything else was great especially for the price!! We will definitely go back when they settle in a little more. I did have to laugh that they had 4 bartenders on and it took a while to get my beer BUT like I said they are new and training.

We always see lots of cars in the parking lot. Beginning to think it's over staff or Costco overflow. The place is nice with tropical ceiling fans and appealing wood beams. It has a cozy feel. The bar is where we head. We see and hear all the happenings of the restaurant. These folks need to keep their bickering away from the front. We browse drink menus and we are amazed with diversity. We were offered a sample of Cheddar's Painkiller. Pussers rum, cream of coconut, pineapple juice, orange juice, and a toasted coconut rim. Too sweet and made me go with a shaker margarita. I felt like Cuervo Gold since I was listening to NPR talk about Cuervo Nation and felt it was an omen. I hope to review Cuervo Nation one day now. My wife chose The Wedding Cake with Pearl Wedding Cake vodka, Malibu Coconut rum,Half & Half. It was not a caloric feel good type of drink. I will say this. I will return for the drinks. Long Island Ice Tea varieties to every type of martini under the sun. If you look at their online drink menu, it's a 25 page PDF file. I like it. Let's talk food. I was amiss with the suggestions preceded by, "I have never tried it before." Lie to me. Just say what your customers say or just describe it and sell it to me. I narrowed down my choices from salmon, Shepard's Pie to Ribs. I want to hear the source of the salmon. She didn't know. Moving on. Shepard's pie is big but "I never had it before." I listened to the rib description, "Smoked for 6 hours so it falls off the bone with a honey BBQ sauce that is so good." SOLD! Though I read 4 hrs. I like a good smoked BBQ. Well the wait for the food was lengthy. So I will review the drinks as you wait as well. The Wedding cake was a iced filled brief, calorie, filled glass of meh. My shaker. just needed more pizazz. Watery for some reason. The food is here! I tried her well done (which can't be screwed up) Double smoked burger. Well. I liked it almost as much as her. I like juices. My ribs are supposed to fall off the bone, and they are some work. I do not like working my knife with knives and getting less than two handy wipes after eating a rack of ribs. The sweet honey glaze was tasty, however the crusty burn on the ribs do not belong there for fall off the bone ribs. They were meaty though, I will admit. Just not smoky enough for me to crave them at any time in the future. I will advise this. Just drink. Take your chances for a meal and you may be happy. I was not wowed. I will return, just not yet.

Went yesterday...first time guest and may wait to go back....Very nice detailed interior but staff in front of house looked like they just rolled out of bed....food was good but server was in the weeds....ex. asked for a side of honey mustard and a straw with waters and meal - and had to wait till ready for the bill to get both not because she forgot but just didn't deliver with the meal...many other guests around ourselves were in same boat as well....was there for the order and the bill

Had a very nice lunch at cheddars. Was in a party of 4 and Raymond did a great job serving us and was very pleasant, the chicken pecan salad and croissants were very good. Also loved the onion rings. Would have given a 5 star review but the hostess was horrible not at all friendly didn't say a word just slammed down our menus with a frown on her face. We inquired and her name was Amanda. Certainly wouldn't say she enjoys her job and she should not be the first person to be seen.

This is just another example of reviewers on yelp holding other customers responsible for the quality of a restaurant at GCTC, and not the restaurant itself. We tried to go on Saturday night around 8:30pm and despite getting two seats at the bar, were simply annoyed and run off by the customers in attendance...not anyone working at the restaurant itself. Wanting to confirm it was not the restaurant/staff fault, we tried again at a little earlier time the very next day and had an extremely enjoyable and pleasant casual dining experience. Our bartender named Aramis went out of her way to make sure we were happy, the drinks were well-made, food was very tasty and everything was delivered to us without an extraordinary wait. By the time we left, Cheddar's again seemed to be taking on the same vibe as the night before...but it was obviously because of the customers, not the restaurant staff. Maybe if fewer people going to the nearby Costco would spill into this place after shopping, the whole atmosphere and reputation of this restaurant would be much less maligned. .

Before putting someone in the bar as a bartender be sure they know how to mix one of your "signature drinks". Took too long to get an appetizer, 30 minutes for chicken nacho's and before the rush was unacceptable. Had to ask to check on the app's..not what I call customer service. Hopefully management will act on this and change the staff behind the bar.

Food is a 4-star but gets an extra star for the great prices they have. The buttery croissant is not to be missed, delish and plenty to split between 2 people. I had the fish tacos for $6.99 and there were 2 tacos in the order and a side. I got black beans, which had a little spice to them but were excellent. Hubby got chicken sandwich with avocado on ciabatta and fries for $7.29. Both were good, fries a little underdone but we didnt have high expectations considering the price we were paying. Also sat at the bar and had attentive bartenders, very friendly and kept my water filled. Margaritas are $3.50 (not a typo) and good, wine was under $6/glass and had bottles for under $20. Our bill with 2 drinks each was under $35 and both our entrees rang up $0.30 cheaper than menu showed, so guessing it was their lunch pricing. Not like they needed to reduce their prices, great value for good food. Everyone seemed to be ordering chicken tenders which looked excellent. They also have catfish on the menu, which my MIL is always on the lookout for places that carry it. Can't go wrong with the prices and quality and taste were excellent.

Oh my how this place has gotten worse. Seriously use to love this place. But service has only gotten worse. Ask for a refill and get the check before a refill (never got it). Waiters and waitress' trying to juggle plates and fail (very amateurish). And hey let's add some more damn salt to the food because nothing tastes better with salt then a little bit of onion ring. The only thing giving this place two stars is the price. Even though the waitress charged us for an appetizer rather then the side it was still a dinner less then $30. I ordered the Napa chicken ciabatta and it was terrible. Tomatoes on a hot sandwich were cold and clearly from a can, NASTY! The chicken was cold in the center and I ordered it with a loaded baked potato which again was cold. Just very disappointing, to the gm: ORDER PROFESSIONAL WAIT STAFF! Seriously people who pride themselves on service in the service industry. Will never come back.

Finally got in! Crowds, especially on Fridays are ridiculous. There must be something going on here. And what is that is that the food is really delicious, generous and priced right! I had the beer battered shrimp witb a spicy cocktail sauce. Maybe I haven't had shrimp in awhile but it was light, crispy and tender. My wife had the broiled salmon with a miso ginger sauce. Light, cooked through and not spicy but tangy. The veggie sides were done well and enough for borh of us. Atmosphere was dark but pleasant. Definitely a family vibe going on. The serving staff look to be on top of everything. Our server, Lance, deserves kudos for apositive attitude and helpful demeanor. You should ask for his tables. Hey SWFL, here's one for you to try. Hopefully the lines are shorter. I think the season is almost over!

Just came back from the GCTC location. This was our 2nd attempt and after our first visit I wasn't thrilled with returning so soon. First we had my wife's 2 small niece and nephew with us, along with my stepdaughter. There was a bit of a wait but the Hostess explained she had a table coming right up as we do not like booths. We waited outside for maybe 10 minutes and our buzzer goes off. As soon as we get inside, we are told by the Hostess's boss there was a mistake and we can't have the table. (Someone waiting longer than we did complained and wanted to be seated first, which makes sense) We get seated in the back, nice family style butcher block table. Our waiter Glenn was prompt to the table, but that is the last compliment we have. My stepdaughter asked immediately if they had Shepard's Pie, as it was sold out on our 1st visit. She was told it was so she was very happy and we all placed our order. I do like the potato soup..very good and I suggest you try it. Don't ask for extra crackers though because according to Glenn, they didn't have any. (Translated to oh dang I forgot them) We waited perhaps 20 plus minutes when Glenn came back to inform us in fact there was no Shepard's pie. We were all kind of miffed, but she ordered a pot roast instead. After another 15 minutes or longer here comes her pot roast. No other entree, not the kids dinners.. Squat..zip. We spoke with the manager who apologized and promised our food would be right up It was delivered soon. Cold and missing croissants as ordered, extra marinara sauce for her niece. Couple this with a few dirty forks, a dirty glass and terrible service..I won't be back a 3rd time. Yes the $ is very reasonable and they are probably in process of weeding out the bad hires (100% college kids I'd say) but I can't see going back with so many other decent food options at GCTC.

ok...hearing about the new place open at GCTC...we stopped in for lunch inside is nice..we were seated right away... food is nicely priced ..such as a large plate of onion rings for 4$ food was good.. but yes service isnt clicking yet... so maybe after a while and they get the service worked out ...

This was my first visit to Cheddar's and I thought it was a decent place. The group I was with ordered a monte cristo, shepherds pie, and I had the cheeseburger. The environment was new, really cool fish tank and fans from above, the food was tasty, and at a decent price, maybe a little too greasy. The staff was very friendly, very young, all the staff seemed like they were teenagers so it was a little weird listening to them describe some of the food. I can't wait till they get a Cheddar's in my area.

Cheap food and after receiving my dinner I see why. Ordered Beef Roast dinner for $9.99 and when waiter sat my plate down, it was difficult to see any beef on the plate ! Plenty of mashed potatoes and more carrots and celery than beef ! Cheddar's portion sizes are obviously geared toward seniors who do not eat very much food ! Service was extremely slow, waited long time for drinks, our dinner and the desert our kids ordered. Waiter also forgot to bring side order of green beans we ordered. We finally received them after completely done with our dinners and having to ask waiter for them. Food was ok, nothing spectacular but did not expect much for $10 meals. Would have preferred to pay much more for dinners with bigger portions on plates instead of what many would consider appetizer sizes at other establishments ! The waiter brings my daughter the cookie with ice cream for desert but does not provide a spoon. Waiter appologised they were out of lids for kid cups and then again apologised when he had to give us our check without a black book which they were out of. These were just very little things but just added to our overall disappointment with this place. We could not find anything really positive or good to say about this place other than it appeared to be clean and nice on the inside. Our family walked out of Cheddar's still hungry and very disappointed with this place. We definitely will not be back here ! My advice for ages under 65 is to go eat elsewhere if you are hungry and want to be satisfied with your dinner. This is not a place you will leave happy in spite of very cheap prices and the many cars and people that seem to frequent this place.

I'd give it 0 stars if I could. We had a party of 8. There were numerous menu items sold out. Our entrees came in about 10-15 minute intervals so every thing was cold by the time we received all of our food. Most of which also arrived completely wrong. Will never go back. Waitress just blamed the kitchen. The manager gave no apologies when she finally brought out the last order nearly 30 minutes after the 1st order arrived.

We were wary of coming here. Everyone we talked to emphasized the prices (inexpensive) and the wait, and good food was a distant third. I would list the food first, homemade, not nuked. Imagine an Applebee's tastefully decorated and with good food. Avoid the wait and go on Monday evenings, additionally I think the newness is wearing off. The service needs a little work, our waiter was really full of himself. We will return.

Went to a late lunch at Cheddar's this afternoon. I had half a Monte Cristo sandwich and a house salad. It was good. The difference between 3 stars and 4 - the service and a pretty yummy Spiked Cherry Limeade. Our server, wish I could remember his name, was fantastic! He was prompt, attentive, helpful and fun. I have no idea why there are so many bad reviews, guess Cheddar's stepped up their game.

Finally tried this place in spite of some poor reviews here. Arrived around 3 PM on a Sunday as the lunch crowd was leaving. Got a table after about a 5 minute wait. Our server was prompt and our drinks and food came in acceptable times. Wife's sirloin steak was cooked as ordered and was very good. I helped her finish. It was 8 oz., their smallest; a 6 oz. steak would have been fine. I had the Shepherd's pie. It was OK, but I'd like it a little less watery and more gravy like. We'll give it another try, maybe when we have company next month.

Food isn't too bad. I really like that the prices are pretty low, especially the alcoholic drinks. However, service at the bar is hit-or-miss. One bartender, Katie, is awesome, very attentive. But I have also sat in the area of another bartender who either is a horrible server or racist. She is a young blonde, probably in her 20s. Both times that I've sat in her area, I've had to wait at least 5 minutes to even be acknowledged. I went on a Thursday night and a Friday night so of course service will be a bit busy but for her to not even say, "I'm sorry I'll be right with you" or to at least hand me a menu? I got fed up on my second visit after sitting for at least five minutes without a word from her and left the restaurant. The next time that I see her at the bar, I will sit on the other side, maybe even wait until the other bartender(s) are available. I refuse to be served by that woman from now on.

This place always has a wait, but we decided to give it a try at 8:00p on a Wednesday night and were seated after 15 minutes. The other reviewers hit it on the head about the wait time for food. In total, we waited 25 minutes for a kids' burger, a half slab of ribs and an order of the pulled pork. They were all out of margarita glasses, so we were poured a giant margarita in a "bachelorette-sized" glass (you know what I mean). I thought this was a generous gesture on the part of management until I took a sip - same amount of alcohol as a regular margarita but double the amount of mixer. It was an awful sickeningly sweet concoction. The food is inexpensive and rightly so. My baby back ribs were burnt on the undercarriage. The pulled pork was "meh". Kiddo thought the burger was okay but "next time can we go t Chik-fil-A across the street instead?" Will not return.

Decided to try Cheddar's since it is new to the area and it was my friend's birthday. When we got there the parking lot was full and there were people waiting outside. Considering the number of folks outside I was was pleasantly surprised to be told only a 15-20 min wait. When our table was ready a nice young lady took us to our table asking us if we had been to Cheddar's before. That point of contact was unfortunately the high point of the service we got. We waited 8 min before the waitress ran by and said I'll be right with you. She finally arrived, we ordered drinks ,apps, and entrees since we had so much time to review the menu. Drinks came, we asked for more Sweet n Low. Put it this way-we're still waiting on that Sweet n Low. For appetizers my friend ordered the chicken tortilla soup and I ordered the onion rings. The waitress asked my friend if he wanted his soup before his meal. I said yes please bring the two appetizers together before the meal. She agreed. About 5 min later she was bringing the soup and said your onion rings will be out shortly. Wait. Wait some more. Wait even more. Wait yet even more. 30 min later she came by and asked if we wanted more drinks. We said yes and I told her to cancel the onion rings. She asked why because it would be out in a minute and I told her because the point was made to bring the apps together so one wasn't watching the other eat. 10 min later she came back by to say our entrees would be out shortly. Laughingly, while she was at our table a runner brought the onion rings even though she had allegedly cancelled them. Note that they arrived 10 min after she said they would be out in a minute. A total of 40 minutes for one appetizer. Entrees were acceptable though my steak was over cooked but I was so hungry by then I was like screw it. My friend asked for some Heinz 57 sauce but the waitress had to ask what Heinz 57 sauce was. When told it was steak sauce she said oh that's A1. I will say, the French fries were tasty, not overly salted and fried well. After we were through with entrees she came by and asked if we wanted dessert. I said I didn't but maybe my friend did since it was his birthday. She said "well we don't sing so that's not happening." Personally since he only wanted one of the 99 cent "just a taste" desserts I think for the poor service and wait time she could have gone the route of offering that on the house as a way to say sorry your experience wasn't up to par and that would have spoke volumes. NOPE. Guess she could care less. In closing I spoke to the kitchen manager or Culinary manager as His card states on the way out. For someone who is a manager he said "oh wow that's unacceptable" or "oh wow that shouldn't have happened" at least 6 or 7 times during our convo. Please give us another try with a couple apps on me next time. He acted like he was shocked at the experience we had. Perhaps he should join Yelp and read the reviews. Haven't decided if its worth the time to give them a second shot. I will know hoever to make sure I have a big lunch that day since I will probably have to waqit for dinner ...

I won't go back. The SALT!! The drinks are a heavy pour, and you order a lot of drinks just to wash down and dilute the salt from your meal. Typical American casual bar fare, with just an absurd amount of salt. Take a pass. You can find better less than 500 yards away.

I know it's a new place and I plan to go back since my meal was actually pretty good, but they really have a lot of issues service wise to sort out. Got there on a Monday night around 7:30 and it was packed. Ended up sitting at the bar and had to wait a few minutes for them to clear off the pile of plates and glasses from the previous customer and then had to ask if they could wipe the bar down since it was covered in some kind of sticky goo that I couldn't define. A sopping wet rag left a small lake of water behind that I cleaned up with a napkin. During this time it is complete and total chaos behind the bar. There was no way this was the "A" team working because while they were trying very hard to keep up with all the drink orders and customers at the bar, it was comical all the mistakes that were being made. Wrong drink mixes, wrong dressing for salads, serving a Pinot Grigio instead of Pinot Noir. Apologies flowed from the staff's mouths like water over Niagra Falls. I ordered a bottled beer just to be safe and had to tackle one of the bartenders to place a food order. I ordered the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans, Texas toast and gravy on the side. The reason I ordered this was because there are no sides choices to get wrong and I like a fried chicken and mashed potatoes. I sat back and continued to watch the show. Every now and then, a manager type person, at least I assumed they were management by their different apparel, would pop in, bark out some type of command or comment and then pop out. Word to management.....roll up your sleeves and dig in when the fur is flying because they really could have used some help. Great entertainment to be sure. My food showed up in a reasonable amount of time and while there was a small cup of gravy on the side, they had splashed gravy on the chicken. No biggie as I would have probably poured a similar amount on it myself, but on the side means just that...right? Anyway, here's the surprise....the food was delicious. Piping hot and very flavorful. The two big pieces of chicken had a perfect crust on them and were fork tender, moist and wonderful. The mashed potatoes were delicious and while the green beans were a touch overdone, still had phenomenal flavor. This meal was only $8.99! I'm a big eater and I just barely finished it. The food will make me come back and try Cheddars again just too see if the food stays consistent, because I can overlook subpar service for this type of meal and at their more than fair prices.

Great food, huge menu, and great value! This is the restaurant that TGIF's wishes it were. I ordered the shrimp and chicken combo, and received several pieces of deep fried shrimp along with a huge amount of chicken tenders, all of which was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended.

Maybe if fewer people going to the nearby Costco would spill into this place after shopping, the whole atmosphere and reputation of this restaurant would be much less maligned. .

Good place for lunch. Food is good, portions are generous and the prices are extremely reasonable. Solid place with a nice variety of sandwiches and entrees.

  • Gerard R.

Denny's with a better atmosphere- sort of. I don't really get the fascination with this place at all aside from it's slightly cheaper then other restaurants in the area and they have a large selection of items. Went once - prob will never go back.

Labor Day.

The drinks are very reasonable 4 to 6 dollars a drink not too bad definitely stop and get one before you go to the clubs.although they are very busy you'll have to wait at least half an hour to get your food the desserts even know there The reasonable in price I would not recommend their cookie save your money!

Not a semi-healthy dish on their menu. The only salad option has fried chicken on it. Beer is not very cold and everything is very greasy.

Monte-Cristo... looks wrong--- MontyCrysto?-- OH!! that's hipper, kids will dig it... going w/ that, I no longer care how it's spelt....)

ok, so I drove over to this area looking to have dinner at Connors restaurant and when I arrived there was a ridiculously long wait to get seated. what to do? we drove around the area and there were so many choices that we didn't know what to choose. we had never been to a Cheddar's restaurant and to be honest, most modest priced family restaurants tend to disappoint. not so with Cheddar's. to start it was about 7:30 on a Saturday night and the wait was only 10 min. the decor was modern and upscale -not your typical family restaurant stuff.
